Deathground A Dinosaur Inspired Horror Survival Game From Alien Isolation

For years, gamers have wanted a Jurassic Park-style survival game. And while Universal Pictures hasn’t announced plans for such a game yet, you gamers should be getting something similar to it very soon. Jaw Drop Games has just announced a new dinosaur survival game, Deathground, and below you can find its first screenshots and details.

Now the good news here is that Deathground is heavily inspired by Alien Isolation. Alien Isolation is considered by many to be one of the best survival horror games of recent years, so that’s at least a good thing.

The bad news is that this isn’t going to be a single-player driven game. From what we can see, Deathground will be a multiplayer game. Thus, the player must reach the extraction point to survive. That, or they can complete any number of objectives. So yeah, it’s sad.

The game will support both solo and co-op modes. According to the developers, Deathground will throw players into a desperate battle for survival against dinosaurs with deadly AI. Players can hide in cupboards, and can use tracking devices and flashlights. This game also has dinosaurs with special AI, weather system, random spawn and extraction points, and dynamic objectives.

Deathground will use Unreal Engine 4, and promises to have dynamic gameplay enriched with objectives, stealth, combat and teamwork. Players will also interact with various items and weapons, and have access to a crafting system.
