Death Crown The Latest RTS Game For PS4, Xbox One, And Switch

Badland Publishing and developers CO5MONAUT and Stas Pisarev will release the real-time strategy game Death Crown for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on November 12, the company announced.

Death Crown itself is a fast-paced game that will be completed in a matter of minutes. In Death Crown, you won’t find a moment to spare as you create an army, acquire resources and strengthen your defense against hordes of enemies.

the game developed by the Russian company is based on an aesthetic that is as surprising as it is minimalistic, paying homage to the classic games developed for the Apple II computer in the 1980s. The 1-bit pixel art, inspired by medieval engravings, is as simple as it is fierce.

The gameplay is not as simple as the graphics. You have to destroy enemy strongholds, and to do so you have to produce resources (by building mines, or factories, depending on the faction), troops that you’ll throw at your opponents and towers that will serve to defend your positions and conquer more lands on the map. .

Long-term strategy isn’t valued here, in classic real-time strategy gameplay style: in Death Crown you have to act, and react to your opponent’s moves, at full speed. The course of each match can change completely in a matter of seconds, just like a game of express chess. Loss of concentration, even for a moment, comes at the cost of painful defeat.

Death Crown will offer three story campaigns where you will lead the 3 factions, the dead, humans or demons, through more than 90 maps. And you’ll bleed to conquer them all, because from each faction’s third map (there are 20 scenarios in each side’s campaign) the AI ​​will be relentless. You will also face 12 bosses with unique mechanics.
