Apex Legends Finally Officially Enters Steam

Electronic Arts and Respawn have announced that their game, APEX Legends, will be coming to Steam this fall. Additionally, Apex Legends will support cross-play between all platforms. This basically means that PC gamers will be able to play with their Xbox One and Playstation 4 friends. For those who are still confused, before that Apex Legends could only be played via their special platform Epic Games (for the PC version), and now it can be played. on steam that’s what it means.

Apex Legends is a squad-based battle royale game (3 people) with a unique Respawn-style concoction. Players can choose from one of eight Legends (the name of the hero in apex legends) – each with unique abilities and playing style making the gameplay interesting and different from other battle rotales even though the core of the game is the same being the last one alive. Players can choose from unique characters such as Bloodhound, a tracker who can see recent enemy activity on the map, or Lifeline, a battlefield medic who can protect teammates and bring them back from the brink of death.

Apex Legends was first introduced globally in 2023 at Origin for PC. Since then, Respawn has supported it with new patches and Seasons. Season 5 is currently underway and Respawn plans to add more content to the game.

Respawn has also announced the Armed and Dangerous Evolved event. In this mode, only snipers, rifles & Evo Armor, no Respawn Beacons. However, players will be able to revive their fallen teammates with a new item: the Mobile Respawn Beacon.
