
Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will release Expansion Pass Part 1: Isle of Armor which will launch on June 17, 2023.
Nintendo as the publisher and Game Freak as the developer announced the latest details for the expansion pass Part 1: Isle of Armor, as well as the expansion Pass part 2 (which is still locked): The Crown Tundra:
Expansion Pass Part 1: Isle of Armor The first new adventure unlocked by the Expansion Pass will take place on the Isle of Armor, an island in the Galar region. Many Pokemon make their home on this island, they live freely amidst the lush nature. This island is also home to a dojo for Pokemon battles. Players and their Pokemon will train hard to become stronger under Mustard, the ruler of this dojo.

Galarian Slowbro
Category: Hermit Crab Pokemon
Type: Poison/Psychic
Height: 5ʹ3″
Weight: 155.4 lbs.
Abilities: Quick Draw Shellder’s Bite triggers a chemical reaction with the spices within Galarian Slowpoke’s body, causing Galarian Slowbro to acquire a type of poison. Shellder who hooks up with Slowbro sometimes subconsciously bites harder on Slowbro’s arm, causing an itch that prompts Slowbro to begin swinging his arm wildly around and destroying the surroundings. With a speed that puts even the quickest reflexes to shame, Slowbro readied his Shellder and shot a shot of poisonous liquid from the Shellder’s tip. This was the Shell Side Arm, a Poison-type special move that could poison the target. The move causes physical or special damage.
■Gigatamax Venusaur
Type: Grass / Poison

Ability: Overgrow
The power of Gigantamaxing has made the Venusaur flower bloom so large that it covers the Pokemon’s body. During battle, the Pokemon uses this petal as a shield and swings two thick vines around to crush its target. Grass-type attacks used by Gigantamax Venusaur will change to G-Max Vine Lash. G-Max Vine Lash doesn’t just deal damage to enemies when it attacks — it continues to deal damage for four turns to any non-Grass-type Pokemon.

Gigantamax Blastoise
Type: Water

Ability: Torrents
The Blastoise’s shell has grown to fit its body, and it also boasts an extra-large water cannon. Gigantamax Blastoise can adapt to different situations by using different combinations of its 31 cannons of different sizes. Gigantamax Blastoise can also move the 12 massive cannons surrounding its central cannon independently, letting it direct its attacks in any direction, whether towards the ground or the sky. Water-type attacks used by Gigantamax Blastoise will change to G-Max Cannonade. The G-Max Cannonade doesn’t just deal damage to enemies when it attacks — it continues to deal damage for four turns to any non-Water-type Pokemon.

■ Legendary-type Urshifu Exclusive Pokemon
The legendary Pokemon Urshifu has two forms — Individual Attack Style and Quick Attack Style — and each form can learn different moves and G-Max Moves. Urshifu’s Single Strike Style who has followed the path of darkness can unleash a single heavy punch with a signature move known as a Wicked Blow. this attack always results in critical hits, allowing Urshifu to attack while ignoring the target’s stat changes. Urshifu’s Quick Attack Style that has followed the waterway can unleash flowing three-hit combos, signature moves known as Surging Strikes. This move always results in critical hits, allowing Urshifu to attack while ignoring the target’s stat changes.
Unseen Fist is a new Ability introduced in this expansion and only belongs to the Urshifu Single Strike Style and Urshifu Rapid Strike Style. This ability allows the Pokemon to deal damage on attack with moves that make direct contact even if the target defends itself using moves such as Protect.
The dark type attack used by Single Strike Style Gigantamax Urshifu will change to G-Max One Blow. Water-type attacks used by Gigantamax Urshifu’s Rapid Strike Style will change to G-Max Rapid Flow. G-Max One Blow and G-Max Rapid Flow can deal damage even if the target defends itself using moves such as Max Guard or Protect
■ New Adventures On Armor Island
Cram-o-matic
The Dojo on the Isle of Armor has a unique take on recycling in the form of a device called the Cram-o-matic. If the player gives him four of the items he requested, they will combine into 1 and give a new item in return. Trainers can receive any of these items, Poke Balls, PP Ups, and more. Some combinations can even produce rare items.
Mobile Tutors
A completely new tutor move will also be available on the Isle of Armor. Trainers can have their Pokemon learn it in exchange for Armorite Ore, a substance that can be found on the Isle of Armor through Max Raid Battles and other means.
Burning Jealousy is a new Fire type move that can be taught starting from this expansion. When it hits, it deals damage to all opposing Pokemon and burns all opposing Pokemon that have their stats boosted during the turn.
Grassy Glide is a new Grass-type move that can be taught starting from this expansion. This move has high priority when used in Grassy Terrain.
Soup Max
Max Soup is a special dish made from rare ingredients that you can collect in the Isle of Armor. If a Pokemon with hidden great drink potential Max Soup, it will be a special Pokemon capable of Gigantamaxing.
Some Pokemon already trained by Trainers can also gain the ability to Gigantamax.
