“End of an era” that when a true legend takes a new step, the occasion is often very heavy when we decide on something new. Today, that point had to come at team Fnatic. After two and a half years with the organization, five majors, we must now say goodbye to Mushi. It’s hard to escape from this fact that the Fnatic team continues to experience underperforming. In the following months after the International 2023 fnatic’s team’s performance continued to decline. With this happening, Mushi regretfully found the best solution was to relinquish his position to allow Fnatic to find a new way forward. Fnatic is very, very grateful to Mushi for everything he’s given to the team: Now the team has to think ahead. We are happy that Ohaiyo will continue the efforts of the fnatic team, with our newest player, Febby. as well as Reinnnn, they will now look to a brighter future as they are working on a new roster.
Eric “reinnnn” Khor Wei Soon, Fnatic DotA Manager
I never thought today would happen where Mushi would leave Fnatic, but the time that I was afraid of suddenly happened, with a heavy heart I have to say goodbye captain,
Yee Fung “Mushi” Chai
I want to start by saying thank you to Fnatic who have supported me the whole time from when we just started, and all my teammates all the time for your support. I also want to thank my fans who have supported me all these years through thick and thin. I am currently leaving Fnatic as a player. I’m not sure about my future plans going forward, but I remain optimistic looking forward to exploring into this new environment.
