Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is likely to get its PC port after its PlayStation 4 release next week, according to producer Shuichi Kobayashi.
FFDream just had an interview with Kobayashi last month , who discussed the potential of porting the game Star Ocean to PC . The following is the content of the interview
FFDream: Are there any plans to port Star Ocean :Intergerity and Faithlessness to PC?
Kobayashi: “Since the game is full of action, I was wondering which controller is right for playing on PC, in your opinion?”
FFWorld : ” With a game pad ? “
Kobayashi: “Do Europeans play with gamepads on PCs?
FFWorld and FFDream : “Yes.”
Kobayashi: “Oh I see. So if you have a gamepad, you can play it without any problems, but I wonder how people who don’t have a gamepad will play. That is our main concern and why we want to release a PC version later, so we can thinking about proper control for players without gamepads, so if we can find a solution to our problems with controls on a PC, porting it might be easy enough for us, though I can’t promise any time soon.”
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will be out for PlayStation 4 in North America next Tuesday (June 28) and in Europe next Friday (July 1).
