The International 2023 Main Event is only about seven weeks away, and Valve has officially announced the six teams that have received direct invites to compete in Seattle.

For the teams that didn’t get an invite they still have a chance to fight their way through the Regional Qualifiers for a place in the biggest tournament of the year. announcement to see the teams directly invited and squads scheduled for action Regional Qualifiers – which will run June 25 – 28.


The top two teams from each region will earn an invite to The International. The third-place finishers will also travel to Seattle for the Wild Card round, where they battle to secure one of the final two spots in the tournament.
Apart from going through the Regional Qualifier, prospective teams can also enter through the Open Qualifier. Faceit (Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia) and Perfect World (China) will host the four Open regional tournaments to be held June 21-24, the top two teams from each open qualifier will receive an invitation to the Regional Qualifiers.
