Rumor: Playstation 4.5 specification code name “Neo” has been exposed

A new news comes from the Playstation 4.5 with the code name “Neo”
According to Giant Bomb sources, the upgraded version of the PlayStation 4 which was rumored since March will be named ‘NEO’, and is said to have a higher clock speed than the current PS4 version, an upgraded GPU from the current PS4 version, and higher memory bandwidth. The console will also support 4K image output.

Giant Bomb reports that games released before October are the same games as ‘Base Mode’ for current PS4 models and ‘NEO Mode’ for upgrade models only, while games released after October can choose to take advantage of the new hardware version with patches . Documents obtained by giant bomb indicate that Sony has no intention of splitting the current PS4 user base with NEO , and that the two consoles will share the same store and interface. Also Playstation neo will not be featured for example with a special code or special unlockable.
