It doesn’t feel like we are already at the end of 2023, many popular games were released this year that caught the attention of many people. Call it Artifact, Super Smash Bros, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, and many more.
Therefore, we have selected the best games released in 2023 that managed to attract everyone’s heart contentcreators Gimbot! Oh yeahthe order below is not based on rank.
Table of Contents
1. God of War (PS4)
To be honest, for some reason I didn’t really like the God of War series. But this time God of War managed to get me into the world of the gods for the first time plus the relationship between Kratos and Atreus made it seem as if I had forgotten how to get out of that world.
God of War this time is the eighth God of War series which is the most different from the previous series because it has a background in Norse mythology, usually God of War uses a Greek mythology background.
I will not explain at length why God of War deserves to be called one of the best games in the Gimbot version. However, one thing is for sure you have to try!

2. State of Decay 2 (Xbox One, PC)
State of Decay series who carries open world zombie survival genre can be regarded as one of the games zombie apocalypse best ever because it illustrates how important it is to survive by building a community. There are tons of updates in State of Decay 2 which was not in the previous sequels like mode co-op multiplayer which allows you to play up to four people.
Then, there is blood plague as a plague brought on by a new type of zombie with red eyes that can infect players. Final legacy missions as main mission by destroying plague heart scattered on the map according to the choice leader within your community from the Sheriff, Warlord, Builder, and Trader where respectively leader will take you to the narration of the story and gameplay different.

3. Celeste (Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC)
There are many reasons why Celeste deserves to be nominated for Game of The Year and won Best Indie Game and Games for Impact at The Game Awards 2023 then. In terms of gameplay, Celeste offer experience platforming which is very challenging. Each level has its own unique mechanic and will challenge precision and patience. You will die a lot in this game, but that doesn’t matter because you can just try again thanks to it respawn which is very fast.
But what makes me really like it Celeste is the story and the message conveyed. Celeste tells of the efforts of a person who is trying to find the best way to deal with the dark side of his personality. Yup, the problem you might be experiencing right now. Everything is well told throughout the game and packed with beautiful retro visuals and great music, wellwas nominated for best game music of the year.
If you like challenging platformer games, games with a nice retro presentation, games with stories that open your eyes and heart, or all three at the same time, you should try this game. Celeste.

4. Marvel’s Spider-Man (PS4)
Setting aside the nostalgic element that PlayStation players felt playing Spider-Man back in the 2000s, Marvel’s Spider-Man was an exclusive that was well planned, and perfectly executed.
Where should I start? Gameplay which is fun and fast really positions us like a superhero in the real world.
Trust me, after 60 minutes get used to the somewhat sketchy control scheme clunkyyou will find it hard to stop just exploring and fighting crime in the city of New York that never sleeps!
Not to mention the music by John Paesano who is skilled at creating melodies that can stimulate adrenaline.
It can’t be forgotten that the DLC from Marvel’s Spider-Man itself, even though it has a short duration, is very detailed storyline which is not nuts.
Whether coincidental or not, it feels like 2023 is the year for Spider-Man. In addition to the emergence of games that epicthe animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse also received many positive reviews.
Although, Peter Parker in Avengers: Infinity War had to be erased by Thanos.

5. Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4, Xbox One)
Like most of Rockstar’s other games, in my opinion, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game with details and gameplay best i ever played. There’s no doubt, that’s why this game is one of the nominees Games Of The Year version of The Game Awards 2023.
This game presents a very interesting storyline in which you will play as Arthur Morgan, a Outlaw Cowboys who seeks a place to live free without law. By concept open world, You are free to explore the map and do whatever you want. Plus, you can also choose to be Good Cowboys or Bad Cowboys which I think will be more exciting to be Bad Cowboys to occasionally feel to be Outlaw Cowboys to be chased by Bounty Hunters.
Red Dead Redemption 2 also has a feature on line where you can create your own character and can carry out missions with other players or fight with other players on a map as large as a game battle royale which is popular recently.
If you want a game with a storyline and gameplay that you can play for hundreds of hours, then Red Dead Redemption 2 is the best game you can get.
