7 New Games of the Week (14

Welcome back to the “7 New Games of the Week” section. This time, Gimbot will provide a list of the latest games that will be released this week!

The list starts from Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown which will take you back to high-class aircraft combat, The Walking Dead The Final Season: Episode 3 – Broken Toys which resumes Clementine’s story, and Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience that offers a gaming experience Kingdom Hearts using PS4 VR.

Then, what are the new games this week that will be released? Here’s the review.

1. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – The Final Season: Episode 3 – Broken Toys

Platforms: PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One | Release: January 15, 2023

After previously circulating the issue that this series would not be helped due to Telltale’s bankruptcy, this title was finally taken over by Skybound Games. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – The Final Season: Episode 3 – Broken Toys is a follow-up title that will take you back to Clementine’s story.

In episode this time, Clementine will continue the story from the previous series to fight to free her captured friends. Of course it’s not easy because there are still many zombies roaming around.

2. Onimusha

Platforms: PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One | Release: January 15, 2023

Do you still remember Samanosuke Akechi and Kaede? Well, this time the series of stories of the two of them will continue on Onimusha: Warlord which was released on the PlayStation 2 back in 2001. In short, you have to help back Princess Yuki who was kidnapped in Inabayama Castle by a mysterious demon army working for Nobunaga Oda.

Onimusha: Warlord this time it brings many updates such as more detailed graphics, full screen display options, to the latest soundtrack.

3. Vanes

Platforms: PC, PS4 | Release: January 15, 2023

vane is a game single-player developed by some of the former team members from The Last Guardian at Friend & Foe. After being announced in 2014, you can finally enjoy this game this week.

For you lovers puzzles, this game is worth trying. The story itself focuses on how you can reveal the mystery of a mysterious land by exploring. Look like RiMEbut it looks like your playing time will be spent mostly underground.

4. YIIK: A Postmodern RPG

Platforms: Mac, PC, PS4, Switch | Release: January 17, 2023

Good news for JRPG lovers because YIIK: A Postmodern RPG you will be able to play this week. The game tells the story of Alex who sees a woman mysteriously disappear in the elevator before his eyes, finally he gathers friends from the internet to investigate.

The game features retro design art combined with JRPG-style combat. You will fight many strange enemies that will block you on every journey.

5. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Platforms: PS4, Xbox One | Release: January 18, 2023

This is one of the most awaited games in 2023. Series Ace Combat will continue to the title Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown which offers storytelling and aircraft combat through highly realistic visuals. Even this game can also be played with PlayStation VR.

This time the story revolves around the conflict between the Ocean Federation and the Kingdom of Erusea known as the Second Usean Continental War. You will play “Trigger” who fights for the Osean Air Defense Force against the Erusea Kingdom’s unmanned drones.

6. Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience

Platforms: PS4 | Release: January 18, 2023

This week, PlayStation VR will get a new game called Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience. Well, for those of you who want to reminisce with the Kingdom Hearts franchise and have a PS4 VR, you can’t hurt to try this game.

The game is developed within the “Virtual Reality Projection Mapping” project which expands the 360-degree visual experience of playing the series Kingdom Hearts.

7. Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Complete Edition

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One | Release: January 19, 2023

Get ready you fans the Sword Art Online franchise to be able to interact with characters from the SAO novels, anime, and games in the series Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet.

The game carries 3rd person shooter + action RPG where you will try to be a hero in Gun Gale Online. Note that the storyline of the game will change based on the choices and interactions of the players in it.
