Octopath Traveler Will Be Available on PC via Steam on June 7 2023

Since the success of Nintendo Switch last year, Octopath Traveler seems to continue to broaden its range of players. After announcing spin-off prequel for mobileSquare Enix also announced that Octopath Traveler coming to PC this year.

This information will be announced via blog posts directly from the official Square Enix website itself. The announcement (via. Gematsu) opens with “We have great news for gamers PC. Octopath Traveler coming June 7, 2023. So, add it to your wishlist immediately.” After that the announcement closed with the information that “Octopath Traveler will be available for purchase from Steam and the Square Enix Store.”

It’s just that the announcement seemed to be released by accident because it was immediately deleted not long after.

Octopath Traveler is a JRPG game that is currently exclusive to the Nintendo Switch only. Since its release, this game has received a lot of praise gameplay which is typical of the classic SNES-era JRPGs, but still with its own unique twist and charming graphics and music. Because of its quality, this game is one that we recommend as the first game if you just bought a Nintendo Switch.
